I had to do this more than once to fix things and when it did work I noticed that I now had a new IP address. And that it was in a range I had never had befor. |

 | reply to Xploit I would suggest calling into the help to find out what happened. They can tell you if there was an outage yesterday or not. I use 1-800-239-4430 when I need to call the help desk.
Hope this helps.

 | reply to Xploit Didn't seem to work, My modem reports the absence of a DSL line. I'm having a tech come out today to see what's wrong. |
|
 | reply to Xploit I'm a little bit North of Bloomington and I have no outages. |

| reply to Xploit It seems that it's network upgrades. Chatted with a rep tonight and mentioned I heard southern Illinois is getting upgrades, and she replied: We will be in your area soon. We are heading in that direction (implying they are going from south to north upgrades.
We are like the only town in Illinois that doesn't have adsl2+ and bonding so it should be pretty soon. |
|
 | Down here we do have Adsl2+. A tech has not yet showed so I'm still down. |

 | reply to SteveJobs The are I live in (just south of Carbondale) has been having PATHETIC connection speeds since around Christmas. It's been terrible since I moved down here this summer, but it's been much, much worse lately. Thanks for the info about upgrades. I'll be calling their reps tomorrow and confirming if there's any chance of them improving anything in my area. |
