I'd buy this service as long as they didn't log, hand my info to copyright trolls. Sounds like a good idea for TSI to offer it.

All VPN providers will hand over you information with a court order. I guess you didn't read the article posted on Torrent Freak.

Sure, unless the VPN provider doesn't keep logs, in which case there's nothing to give.

not if you use a swedish provider like mullvad.net who does not keep any logs at all.
i also get 80-90% of my download (2 megabytes/sec on my 2.4megabytes/sec (25Mbps) teksavvy link) even going through a vpn. which means i can stream and surf anonymously as well.
