I searched and cannot find the setting to make me pingable for my line monitor.
Does anyone know? |

You say it's quite easy.
It looks very complicated to me.
I may give it a try over the wekend.
Thanks again for responding. |

 | Yeah, rooting isn't exactly easy, but once it's rooted making it pingable is.

 | reply to mjf Also, remember, rooting your modem invalidates your warranty. So, I would imagine, if ATT finds out, they charge you to replace the modem, since they will most certainly blame any failure on that, even if it has nothing to do with it. |

When I telnet, I get to the login and type "admin"
However, I can't enter a password. I type and nothing appears.
Is it me, telnet or has this been disabled? |

The password was the device access code.
Okay let's see if it worked.
Update:
It is working. The line monitor is recording the pings.
That's why I love this place. Members will always step up with answers. Thanks again. |
