[Anveo] Can someone explain: Status - "CHANNELS.BLOCK" ...

Hello:

One of my Anveo accounts (a testing account) is set up like this:

Subscription Package: FREE
Phone Numbers: Value Plan

I have 2 phone numbers:

USA +1(518)310xxxx forwarded to my Canadian cell phone number.
CDN +1(514)600xxxx forwarded to my Google Voice account.

I noticed, in the CDR Report, that the Status is "CHANNELS.BLOCK" at times.

What does this mean, why does it happen, and, what are the implications?

Thanks,

Rob.

Here is my guess.

Channels are used for incoming calls.

Free plan gives you 1 floating channel, across all DIDs. Value phone numbers give no dedicated channels.

So you are limited to 1 incoming call active at a time. Channel Block is probably from a 2nd call trying to come in and no channels available.

If you had Personal Unlimited DIDs then they would have 2 dedicated channels per DID.
