Maybe it's the way they are done. I never tried those. I have one also that buzz a little in my recessed fixtures but I have a dimmer and I suspect that even dimmable LED does not cope well with dimmer or it's a cheap dimmer. I have to turn the dimmer half way before the LEDs turn on. After that I can turn the dimmer down and they stay on. That's a normal behavior with certain electronics. it's the minimal current and voltage necessary for the circuit to turn on. Otherwise my Philips Hue LED are very pleasant to have. They are 59.95$ea but you can do all sorts of things with them. you can dim them change color and light temperature as you wish. You feel like blue you can turn the light deep blue. You feel reddish, turn it red. I love them.
