Re: [AB] Shaw Gateway Diagram, not really, it "has" to be done by a Shaw install, not something you are allowed to install yourself.
At the main line coming into your address, a Low-Pass-Filter is installed so that the high frequencies used by the Gateway (MoCA) don't leave the address.
The Gateway is installed with two cable lines to a main splitter, and the Gateway installed somewhere out of the way.
Portals are then installed at your TVs, using the existing coax cables, the Portals find the Gateway using MoCA, and then the system is activated.
