Now, I have seen it at 12/4 and even 4/1, but those are really rare here..
30/12 isn't the usual everywhere either. In fact, according to most reports over at howardforums (the largest forum dedicated to those interested in cell networks) - in most urban areas Verizon's LTE network has dropped right into their stated goals of 5-12mbps.
