From the employee side..
I was a Dish employee in a significant role within the Marketing department for several years. I was also a customer. While the customer experience is about par for this type of service, working there is another story. In my entire career, I have never seen such a micromanaging, control freak as Ergen...and it rolls down hill and no one dares challenge him, since everyone lives in fear of their jobs. Everything in the Bloomberg article is true and then some. It isn't even the long hours...it is the demeaning manner in which employees are treated. I would sack groceries before ever working for Dish or their corporate sister, Echostar, again. For those fine people still suffering under that regime, there is a better life at other places. Dish isn't the only place to work.
