Take the "issue" our of this thread (this is for speed test results I guess) and put it in a direct forums thread including your current IP and I will check with the person you referenced. You will need to include something that demonstrates your issue as well.

Got it and it is being addressed. I probably won't hear anything until Tuesday but by then I will know exactly whats going on and get it resolved. This is the same issue you talked to me about last month or something new? Strike that just email me the details.

Hmm... I am unclear about the new 60/5.

1. I am a Lightning Subscriber... do I get the 60/5 automatically or must I pay the extra $5/month?

2. I am presently seeing ~45-50 Mbps down and ~6 Mbps up

What tier am I on???

You are on the legacy Lightning tier. I can upgrade you if you want. It will increase your monthly bill by $5.00. If you want it just create a direct forums thread and include your IP.

Thanks... but for the moment I'll stay with the "legacy tier" as the 45 Mbps/6 Mbps I am experiencing is sufficient for our streaming needs. The extra boost is not worth the $5/m especially since I seem to be getting a faster upload... at least for now

You just reminded me of the internet in St.Petersburg, Russia.
100 Mbit symmetrical for ~$18. Good times.

I'm not happy because I wish cable had great latency like fiber to the home does with verizon fios. I have bright house networks road runner right now on the standard plan and have been upgraded to the new speeds and that's great and all but when I run tracert's to say a site like google.com I will get 6 ms from the brighthouse hop but after I get on to the road runner network's hop the pings will go in to the 20's and then when I finally reach google.com the ping will be 32 ms. I would really like to see a ping under 20 ms if it's possible with cable modem technology please. My monitor has a 5 ms response time and the human eye has a response time of 10 ms according to google's own calculation tool and if my internet is being delivered at 32 ms that is 3 times slower than the human eye and should be fixed and I will pay whatever I need to pay in order for brighthouse to upgrade my connection if there was a way. Please let me know if there is a way to make my latency better than 32 ms to google and whatever else sites that I feel like visiting please. Thank you.

Not sure where you got that information but if it was Google then Google would be wrong. The response times you referenced above are well within acceptable limits by even the strictest of standards and well well well below the actual response times eye to hand (for actual studies on this read »www.jneurosci.org/content/31/7/2399.full.pdf )

lol I'm just messing with you guys. I'm in the same building as the Indianapolis server. That's why it's so high. On a neutral speedtest I get more around 50x5.

I want what he is having (100+ up and down).

BTW, what is your ping on your 50x5 via speedtest? I got 50ms. I envy the others getting below 30ms.
