They have a completely different culture toward suicide over there. I also don't think someone would be able to get a life insurance policy and then kill themselves the next day, even in Japan.

LOL indeed. If one looks up the Titanic sinking and the one and only Japanese survivor and what he had to live with, you will see where they come from. The entire country was practically calling for this guy to kill himself as the honourable thing to do.
