It's a good way to propel the increase of defense budget, providing a big new revenue stream for participants in that "war"... It's all, as usual, about the money. Watch where money goes and it will help you to see what's going on behind the scene. BTW, the "beauty" of this new (actually, not new) virus-making business is that it can be self-created and well planned ahead. You develop and throw a bunch of new viruses at your enemy, then, if you see they're slow in response, leak some of your other "creations" to them. That will help to justify a new increase of the budget for next round of new "cyberwar" defense measures. Nobody knows what's going on and where it comes from and there is no way to prove anything. And you may play this "war" game from your office (or outsource some of that abroad). But the money coming is real and big. Nice
