 | [Voip.ms] Voip.ms Question on Digit Map Hi all,
I have my voip.ms setup nicely with my obi100. Everything seems to be working fine except:
1) Dialing *97 takes me to "comedian mail" 2) International calls are not connecting (but everything enabled in account online)
Dial plan I am using (from mango's site):
( [23456789]11 | *xxx. | [2-9]xx[2-9]xxxxxxS0 | 1[2-9]xx[2-9]xxxxxxS0 | 011xxxxxxx. | [#*x][*x][*x][*x][*x][*x][*x][*x][*x][*x][*x][*x]. )
What am I doing wrong? I am registered on the toronto server. |

| That's Mango's dial plan for a Linksys ATA like the PAP2T.
But you have an Obi !!
Not the same.
See here for dial plans for using the Obi on Voip.MS »wiki.voip.ms/article/OBi110

Also, make sure on the Voip.MS online dashboard that you have (1) enabled international calling in general and (2) enabled specific countries in particular.

Voip.MS uses Comedian Mail. This is in honor of all the great Canadians from Mack Sennett to Dan Aykroyd. Yes, when you dial *97 you'll get Comedian Mail.
You may need to configure your mail setup: »wiki.voip.ms/article/Voicemail |

Yes I did set the voice mail on the voip.ms website.
My understanding was that dialing *97 skips the "login" to voice mail. But for me it asks for mailbox ID after saying comedian mail...
Am I doing something wrong? |

Am I doing something wrong? It is possible that you have your device registered to a different account than the one you set voice mail for. For example, setting up the voice mail on the main account will only enable *97 on a device registered to the main account. If you've set a voice mailbox on the main account, but your device is registered to a sub-account on which you did not set a voice mail box (or vice versa), then *97 will have to play the login because it does not know what mailbox you want. Just a thought. |

(1xxxxxxxxxx|[2-9]xxxxxx|[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|011xx.|xx.|*xx.|(Mipd)|[^*]@@.)
Changed 555 -> 647 since my DID tarts with this. Is this the right thing to do?
Also, I thought dialing *97 skips the mailbox login...? |
