| slow printing If not the correct forum, please move.
HP Deskjet 3050A All-in-one J611 series, Vista Basic.
For the past 3 days this printer has started to print extremely slow...1 page=3 or more minutes to print.
Of course the warranty expired last month.
Do I unplug the USB from printer and then insert the software cd and follow instructions? Or is there something else I need to do?
I figured I needed to update the driver and did so from the HP website...which didn't correct the slow printing at all.
Any suggestions?
I tried the HP Community Support website - no replies at all since I posted there at 9 AM.
Thank you...hope someone can help me with this problem.

| Well, no answers from the HP website.
Would you believe...tried to print something...a form...that I had in My Documents...1 sheet=10 SECONDS, altho it did 'pause' halfway through ! I ended up printing 20 sheets=not even 2 minutes total time. 
I didn't reboot last night either.
Wonder why it's 'working' now?
