 | [DSL] Flaky MLPPP (SLPPP) I know that MLPPP at this point is pointless as there is no throttling but not point of this thread....
I noticed that DSL on MLPPP gives a very flaky download connection (slow fluctuating speeds) while on DSL with MLPPP (off) maxes out my sync on the exact same download connection, with no issues.
Why is this? |

 | What kind of router are you using? WRT54gl maxes out around 15-20mbps with mlppp ON, it can't handle it. |

 | reply to torobull123 If you're running a Linux-based router, is the downstream RX error count (ifconfig output for the ppp device) non-zero or increasing? If it is, it might be the same problem I encountered more than a year ago. |
