<description><![CDATA[k9iua6 posted : You don't say what type of modem you are trying this on, whether it is your's or their modem, and whether Mediacom has loaded their own firmware on the device.  It would not be unusual for Mediacom to have disabled SNMP on the device for all but their own use, as it represents both a security risk and a way for a user to potentially unlock features that the ISP doesn't want modified.]]></description>
