Nice app, fast and easy like Agent Ransack.............but I noticed that it didn't close when I exited it.
I had to kill the process in TM. -- Sarcasm is the bodys natural defense against stupidity. |

It's still BETA software, isn't it?
EDIT: It should be noted that 1.3 BETA has been around for a very long time. Unfortunately, the author can't find the time to release stable (non-beta) versions regularly any more. Anyway, it's still one of my favorites. |

 | reply to chachazz Does the BETA work with Windows 8 I had to use a Task schedule hack to get 1.2.1.371 to run without a UAC popup in windows 8.
But i really like the program.
Thanks for the heads up on the new BTEA |

1 edit | reply to chachazz Well that is not 100% correct.
I installed this beta over the old version and it did not update, it over wrote it. So i lost all my setting.
It seemed to start up without needing the Scheduled task work around from here »www.techrepublic.com/blog/window···ompt/730
So i deleted my work around task, but later I found out that it did not list any drives unless i launched it as an Administrator, and then the UAC pop up was back. So in Windows 8, you still need to use the schedule task UAC bypass work around to use this program without having to click OK on the UAC popup at every start of the program after you add run as Administrator to the program properties. |

 | reply to mmainprize Thanks for that tip, mmainprize! I too had been mildly annoyed by that behavior but too lazy to see if anything could be done about it. One little check mark and - hide results when search is empty! Great! |
