Every year I buy Centre Ice because I am out of market.. this year I will not be doing that (my protest for the lockout) but Centre Ice is free until the end of Hanuary -- "The hardest thing about any political campaign is how to win without proving that you are unworthy of winning." ~ Adlai E. booj join:2011-02-07 Richmond, ON | I'm seriously considerg the $50 NHL Gamcentre live subscription this year. I should be able to stream every game that is blacked out with Unblock-us. I don't have cable tv so this seems like the best alternative to using low quality free streams.
Should be an exciting year. Sens need to play their all offence style and maybe good things will happen. |
|
 | FYI there is a Game Centre Live app for the xbox and ps3 |

KardinalDei Gratia ReginaPremium join:2001-02-04 N of 49th | reply to BigSensFan I attended a couple of the open practices earlier this week, and watching this team I had a couple of thoughts:
1) they are fast 2) they are young 3) they work hard (couldn't do anything but that with coach MacLean) 4) we have the best goalie controversy ever: we have 3 good options 5) blue line might be young but not inexperienced 6) lots of players who were over in Europe means good start for a lot of them 7) lots more up-and-coming talent in the system for coming years (Ceci, Noesen, Hoffman, Prince, Stone, etc)

Kuba isn't going to be the +/- and assist machine he was last year as he's not playing with the current Norris trophy winner anymore. -- All of us get lost in the darkness, dreamers learn to steer by the stars All of us do time in the gutter, dreamers turn to look at the cars - Peart / Lifeson / Lee Join Team Helix |

 | Sens won the season opener 4-1... looked sloppy for much of the 1st and the 2nd..but brought it together and won the game

| And he said it wasn't his best game, and MacLean said he could have played better. |
|
 | Sens win 4-0 tonight over Florida.
Turris with 2 goals, Jim Obrien with on and Jakob Silvferberg with his first NHL goal |

And this guy was removed or thrown out? Its it true? |
|
KardinalDei Gratia ReginaPremium join:2001-02-04 N of 49th | No, it's not true. He wasn't thrown out; he was escorted to an interview with SportsNet's Ian Mendes.

I want to emphasize something on the Paul MacLean stunt double: He was not kicked out of the game and escorted out by security.
I know it looked that way on one of the broadcast shots, but that's not what happened. -- All of us get lost in the darkness, dreamers learn to steer by the stars All of us do time in the gutter, dreamers turn to look at the cars - Peart / Lifeson / Lee Join Team Helix |

 | Aha. That clears up. Thanks.
Looks like even CNN apologized when they said he was thrown out. |

KardinalDei Gratia ReginaPremium join:2001-02-04 N of 49th | reply to BigSensFan Tonight's game was a bit sloppy at times, but the Senators got the job done. A goal from Phillips pretty much guarantees a win (Senators are 47-11-4 when the Big Rig scores), and tonight was no exception. A beauty of as steal by EK65 who then walked in and picked the corner glove side on Theodore, and Spezza gets and empty netter to seal the win. 3-0, with 2 goals against.....I'll take it! -- All of us get lost in the darkness, dreamers learn to steer by the stars All of us do time in the gutter, dreamers turn to look at the cars - Peart / Lifeson / Lee Join Team Helix |
