 Subaru1-3-2-4Premium join:2001-05-31 Greenwich, CT | Air compressors Has anyone switched from a direct drive to a belt driven compressor but switching it off from the compressor? I've been thinking about doing this but I don't know if my mounting plate is big enough as seen here

You don't need a 2 stage unless you plan on running over 125 PSI.
Finding a pump cheap will be the biggest issue. Then calculating the right belt and pulley sizes, new plumbing and mounting everything. -- Scott Henion
