I have a Netgear WNR2000v3 router .
A few days ago, this router stopped talking to my modem. Power cycling, trying a new firmware version, changing channels, trying to use it as a switch (as opposed to a router) have all yielded no results.
Does anybody have any experience or advice on what I can do to fix my problem?
I'll try anything at this point -- I'm not ready to have bought a $50 brick.

I'm pretty sure it's a brick. It refuses to get an IP address from my modem still. |

Many Modems must be Power-Cycled in order to release/renew the MAC Address mapping of the device directly connected to it's LAN port (IE: Router or PC)...
Just a thought,
