IEM is the most fucked up tournament host to date for LoL.
Still running round robins for group stages even though the last 2 tournys they ran had ties that had to be broken by a calculation of game time of losses - game time of wins.
They should be running double elimination group stages like everyone else. Stop failing IEM. Stop it.

O yea they are both huge.
SC2 is more of a perfectly balanced your mechanics mean everything and there are set strats that beat certain strats but it will eventually come out as who picked the right strat the fastest and played it mechanically better.
LoL is unbalanced all the time and changes every 2 - 4 weeks. So adaptaion and creativity are need just as much as player mechanics and the team work / game knowledge can ever supersede mechanics in some roles (jungle / support).
