@bankone.com | device with modem-2-wifi, wifi-2-ethernet, PC networking I am sensitive to the wireless radiation, so I got Xfinity wired modem, but I have a tablet that can only be connected wirelessly, so I want to get a device with wireless router with access point. Some times I travel and stay in hotel. Now a days almost all the hotels has wireless connection, thus making difficult to use laptop with wireless. If there is a device that receive wireless signal and that can give me ethernet connection to laptop, I can use it. So I was looking for a device that can
1. convert modem to wifi
2. wifi to wired connection
3. allow the network connection between different laptops in the house ( either wireless or wired )
I keep reading so many words that lost me- hub, router, access point, bridge, repeater etc.

Any wireless router can do 1 and 3. Some routers (ie, Tomato, WL-330n) can do all three.
