[DSL] Internet drops connection

Hey all, any help is greatly appreciated!
I have 3m speed and am getting 3.3m but my connection keeps dropping. I bought a Roku to stream netflix, the movie loads but then the connection drops about every two to three minutes. It's been doing it on my laptop too. Tech support said they did something to my modem to fix it but the connection still drops. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

Not sure where you are located. Are you seeing this all the time or just during the hours of peak usage? If it is not all the time it may be related to congestion or you may be far enough away from the CO that 3.3 cannot be supported. Can you post your modems transceiver statistics?

Only thing that makes me think its not congestion is that it happens litterally all the time, not just during peak hours. Could it be a problem with my wireless? And if so how would I find out if it is?

it could be a wireless issue. Does the DSL light drop off or flash when you get disconnected? Also where do you live in WV?

Dont use wireless to stream video.
Can you assign the Roku an IP addy from the router?
I have times also when my laptop shows I have a limited connection and I have to reboot the router.
Doesnt happen as much with the West 7500 but the old one did it constantly
