It was loose wire was causing a misfire on one cylinder.
$35 repair. he also checked the other connections as well.. |

really killing my gas mileage getting 9 MPG city and 15MPG on the highway.
huge drop considering it took out one cylinder. one cylinder is just a huge drag when it's not working correctly. still not getting any codes

If 2 and 5 are the problem, pull the wires, clean the ends and the coil plugin, and then lightly coat with petroleum jelly.  JuggernautIrreverent or irrelevant?Premium join:2006-09-05 Kelowna, BC kudos:2 | I would use 300 grit emery cloth, or sandpaper. It usually doesn't take much to clean them. For the coil pack, wrap it around a pencil and twirl it to clean. |
