[HELP] accessing website through cisco router

Hai Plaz. i have designed a website using joomla 1.5.6 and its setting on my websever(on ubuntu os). my q. how do i make my site accessible. am advised to configure cisco router port.am new to cisco router configuration

What model router?
Some will have built in switch interfaces, some not, and they would be configured differently.

And are we talking about a Cisco IOS device ("real Cisco") or a Cisco branded Linksys ("linksys trash")?

If it's a linksys, then there are thousands of howto's all over the place on how to setup port forwarding -- any search engine should be able to find page after page of them.

Second what has been said before. Make / model of router? Is it Cisco Cisco or Linksys by Cisco, or Cisco Small Business?

Conceptually, it's no different across the board -- port forwarding to your internal webserver. The trick is
HOW to do it on the actual gear.
