What?!? For nearly $3k there is no optical zoom, neither is OIS, nor true macro mode. Who needs something without these?

Personally I think it's a joke.

It is TOO middle of the road priced. If you can afford a $3k compact/rangefinder then you can most likely afford a Leica.
And to spend 2 to 3 times the amount of a Fuji or Sony on basically the same kind of camera is ludicrous.
I cannot afford ANY Leica, so I'd be in the marker for an X Pro1 or an XE1

I'm not a pro, so I cannot really evaluate a camera that is so much beyond my needs and knowledge. Yes it has a really big sensor, but I think my critic about those missing features are still valid to some degree. I know that zoom can be an issue in this case, but they should've had at least a token (i.e. 2x) optical zoom.

If I were to want it *really* badly I could afford it, but since not too long ago I bought a camera and some accessories worth well over $1k (at the time of purchase) there will be no more expensive camera for me for a while.
