The DNU has been completed in my area since last Sept, yet still no word on the phase 2 updates (i.e. higher internet speeds.)
Last I heard (from a Shaw rep) the holdup is attributed to the fire they had at the Calgary Shaw office and have no ETA.
I'm considering switching to Telus because I'm really looking for a faster upload, and their 50/10Mbit package is available in my area. |

No, it doesn't mean it has completed, here, have HD VOD primetime, and MC2 and MC3, DNU has not occurred here yet though.

It is pretty easy to tell if DNU is done in your area. Go to Shaw.ca and see what internet packages are available for your area.... |

250 mbps is available in Strathmore, but DNU hasn't happened there yet either (or hadn't happened yet when I was there but 250 was available).
Easist way to tell, is if you have full cable (tiers 1, 2, or 3) connect a TV to analog cable, and see if you can get the tiers channels. If you don't have Tiers 1, 2, or 3 you shouldn't be able to see the channels in analog either though.

The DNU *has* happened in my area (analog gone, which is kinda a bummer because we used it for FM), but I don't have access to updated tiers.
No idea why that is, but there you have it. |
