Windows 7 Pro 64-bit Install, LG GGW H20L Now Flashing HDD L

The registry edit I used to do on XP to stop the strobing once per second HDD LED activity when the LG GGW H20L BD burner is connected to a SATA port does not work in Windows 7. This is the registry edit that I had successfully used in Windows XP Pro:

HKLM/System/CurrentControlSet/Services/CDRom and changing the AutoRun key from 1 to 0. Reboot.

However, the HDD LED continues to strobe in Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. Other than switching to a different brand/model of BD burner, what is the new fix for Windows 7 with this issue?

I tried setting all of them to 'no action', however, the light is still flashing once per second.
