| Set box to native or 1080i First off how do I change the output of the Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8300 HDC so it doesn't switch back and forth from 720p to 1080i? I know there's a way to do it but I can't remember how:)
Also should I just set it to 1080i and leave it? I just recently got a 1080p tv after previously having a 720p one. I would just let the box switch from 720p to 1080i depending on the channel but 720p doesn't look as good to me on the new tv. I'm not sure if just leaving it on 1080i would make a difference? I believe the tv will automatically scale whatever source it's fed to 1080p..
