BHN(Indianapolis) Lightning Setup tomorrow with my router.

So, as the title says, I've got an appointment for Setup tomorrow (switching from UVerse) for lightning and would like to use my own router with the service.

Is there anything special I will need to tell the tech tomorrow to make sure the modem is setup correctly and in bridged mode? From my experience in the past I will likely have to let them hook it up direct to my computer and hook up the router myself later but would prefer not to have to call in several times.

Even if I had known to tell my installer to set it up in bridged mode I doubt he would have known what I was talking about.
You might have better luck if you have them contact the office though. Good luck!

This was sort of what I figured. I will likely just have to call in after he leaves.

It's been my experience with the field techs that if I ask for anything specific I usually get blank stares and nothing more.

Calling in for this is not necessary....simply open a direct forums thread, include your new IP address and I'll take care of the rest.
