Re: Getting cruched ice when picking cube from fridge If you are capable, take out the entire auger motor assembly out of the freezer (the whole back section as one piece). Only a few screws and a plug. Inspect the solenoid assembly. Pay attention to the spring around the shaft. I have seen a few where the spring becomes unwound and out of position and will therefore prevent the plunger from moving fully. The spring coil will slip past the washer or c-clip. If that is what happened, I'm sure you can figure out how to fix it. |
