the uverse 2210 uses 802.1x authentication and 2241-VGx uses PPPoE Authentication. most firmwares have a check built in that only allows the correct firmware to be flashed. you will not be able to flash the firmware unless it is modified to support the 2241-VGx but I would not flash the firmware. I think both modems are different enough that the 2210 firmware will brick your modem and may require jtag to flash the correct firmware
