[Windows] Home router which blocks ads

I'm sure this has been discussed somewhere but I don't see it:

Is there a wireless home router which has an simple option that says "block these sites" and then allows you to enter domains ?

Ideally you could cut and paste the contents from one of the several sites which maintain host file blocked domains.

This seems like such a simple basic task - I have a DLink DIR655 and it appears to be useless for this. Is there a simple way to do this without geeky workarounds and modifications?

Can anyone please suggest or direct me?

your best bet (easiest) and reasonably effective is to point your dns on the router to OPEN DNS. They have a wide ranging of categories to block for free.

Pretty much any home router with "parental controls" should be able to do this by entering the domain(s) you want blocked.

Seriously though, I'd look into a HOSTS file modification to do this, if this is for a home setup.
