| [Mobile] Multi state wi fi I start a multi state trucking job soon, and would like to have wide spread wireless internet access for my laptop. I'm currently a Comcast HSI customer at home, so there is one potential channel. Fee based per usage / per hour wi fi at many truck stops seems to be very pricey. Keeping traveling expenses to a minimum is a must for me. It sure would be nice to stream movies and download book and audiobooks and music streams for the 10 hours per day required rest period. I have a Netflix account, and as you know, youtube is loaded with full length movies.
I've been considering a "Straight Talk" unlimited cell phone 3G & 4G data plan, and perhaps I could use a cell phone as a wi fi modem?
Does this sound do-able?
Any recommendations on which phones allow modem use without extensive cuss word incantations?
