Re: Significant outage across Southeast US? Out in Florence Alabama area since this morning. Calling customer service at 6:30 a.m. gave recorded message that there was a "Uverse outage" and that agents would have no further info. |

| A neighbor just sent a text asking if my internet was down. I've seen a few posts mentioned that it might be a DHCP issue. So I'm wondering if I'm not affected because I have a static IP. |

My service came back on 5+ hours after going out...my TV/Internet were doing terrible with the TV stuttering and the internet speeds slowing...so I rebooted it last night and it went out completely.
5 or so hours later...both TV/Internet came on and holy smokes was the internet blazing fast.
I have 12mb but I swear it was hitting 30+ even though the numbers didnt say it.
I had some downloads done in not just record time but nearly 1/2 the time as usual. |

the outage affects both IPDSL and Uverse in areas that are affected by the outage. the outage is affecting both southeast and southwest areas. |

I rebooted my modem one more time, and did the ufix from my phone. seems that I got a new IP on my gateway, and it took ufix to redetect it. TV, internet, and static IP's are now back up and running. |

I live in Clover, SC and have U-Verse TV and Internet, I have a 3801 and am fed by a VRAD, we were unaffected by any outage untul about an hour ago 6:30PM EST on the 22nd our service went out modem indicates DSL is up but no IP addresses are assigned, we re-booted gateway and no luck, sounds like this is part of the same problem.
Strange though I called my neighbor and her U-Verse is ok. On hold for an AT&T rep now.

I live in N. Atlanta suburbs, Uverse has been out all of today- past 15 hours. Can't get through to ATT, goes to busy signal. (I'm using another internet service to post this). ATT needs to have info on their website about this. |

| Both myself ( Boca Raton FL) and my buddy ( Boynton Beach FL) are unable to connect to XBOX Live over Uverse. Internet works OK though. |
