It's obvious that you don't know the competitive history of Armstrong. I'll say first that I am squarely in the court of former admirers of Armstrong's cycling prowess. His accomplishments are now in the trash bin where they belong. There has been times when cycling rivals have had misfortunes out on the bike during a Tour De France stage. Armstrong respected the code of the peloton and waited until his rival recovered. His rivals have reciprocated when he had misfortune. Armstrong has also gifted stage wins to competitors when he could have easily taken the win. We all know Armstrong is scum. Anybody who has followed Armstrong's Tour history knows how he conducted himself in the peloton. You don't. Having said that, I don't know what Armstrong would have done in a running race.
