My experience after 1 year with Tek home phone: installation was an absolute nightmare, just like internet activation. But once up and running, have never had a single issue. Would not go back to Bell.

Home Phone installs (Traditional POTS) was very hit and miss before. We have really redefined our relationship with the wholesale group in charge of Voice Provisioning.

But I agree with you, once installed, rarely any issues.
