Calhoun, GA | Compaq C50-210US Fan Issue Ok, so I have my own laptop tore apart and I am now putting it back together. I had to buy a new heatsink/fan for it. When I was taking the old one out. The wires came out of the connector that plugged into the motherboard. Some how the white fan connector is still in the fan connector on the mobo. Things I have tried include using a small jewelers screwdriver to try to wiggle it out, needlenose pliers to get a hold of the connector and pull on it. It still wil not come out. I bought the laptop for my daughter a few years ago and since she has a new one now, I have inherited this one. Other than the fan everything still works fine.
