Piggie posted : I've run networks through their network and never found a port blocked. I often used common port numbers during setting up a new tunnel just to remove the variable of a closed port, and used most of the common but seldom used ports to test, before setting it on a weird port number for a tiny bit of security. Never ran into a blocked port. But things can change with the flip of a software switch.
--
| Speedstream 4200 Modem - 3m/384 plan | W98-W2KSP4-XPSP2 - All AMD | Buffalo WHR G54S with Tomato 1.18 | 3 downstream switches feeding 6 total clients (no wireless) | Including the Data port on the side of my neck |

jerrysfl posted : Has Anyone had trouble with Windstream blocking ports specifically port 85. We have been monitoring the security cameras at our vacation home for months but now we cannot connect and when we checked port 85 and 6036 are now closed. Called Windstream , they say they do not block ports. Hmm we have not made any changes since we left 10 days ago and every thing was working fine. Had a relative go by and reset every thing and check with can you see me, ports are block. WTF
