Mississauga, ON | Hitron CGN2-ROG in Bridged Mod? (Extreme service) Can you tell me why you have to put the Hitron in bridged mode if using your own router?
If you just put your external router on one of the ports could you still not get though to the internet?
or does change some other settings for speed etc. I know the original wireless would still be functional but does that matter?
When connected to my Hitron via wireless I can get make 30-50Mbs when within 6' of the unit and then when wired directly speed is 150-250Mbs.
Will I get better speed by throwing a Linksys E2500 router on the unit then the orignal Hitron wireless? |
