| [TWC] TWC internet raised thier prices too close to FIOS in Dall In last 1 year it seems like price of some of TWC Internet has gone by up $18 a month. I remember awhile back you could order 30/5 Extreme Package for $49.99 for new customers. Now its up to $64.99 for new customers (12 months) PLUS the $4 modem rental fee.
Honestly, this is affect pushing price way to close to or maybe even same as Verizion FIOS. I bet after the 12 months TWC price will equal to the $79.99 Verizion FIOS charges for their 50/25 internet for 2 years contract. TWC should keep their price down when can't fully compete with FIOS internet speeds/reliability.
Anyhow, the end result is I picked the FIOS 50/25 internet for my new house instead of sticking with TWC's 30/5 Extreme I have in my current home! |

They made a big deal about improving speeds for the standard package (10Mbps to 15Mbps), but the price also went up $15! Just wow! Smh. |
