 | Cable card in Columbus OH Currently have WOW basic cable and 15/1 internet.
I'm considering switching to a cable card based HTPC (already have the HTPC running smoothly, but no live tv/PVR ability on it).
If I switch to digital cable and get a cable card (and appropriate tuner), can I still use the tv directly to watch standard cable like now? Or would the TV require a box to access anything?
Basically, WE would use the htpc for HD watching and PVR functionality, but when others are using the tv (baby sitters, family, etc) I'd like to maintain simple direct tv usage. |
