This is a composite of three images, using the moon for the background. I was standing in the same spot and shot all the images with-in a minute of each.
badd had it correct, and suggested that I feather the birds before adding to the image. I also sharpened the image after I put it together and after downsizing. I'm guessing I shouldn't have.

Looks like anytime anyone uses the select tools for any work they need to perfect it, or most folks will know it is not original out of the camera.

Selecting and layering is really tough for me. I end up with a sloppy looking cutout instead of a clean selection. I applaud your skills. -- Buckle Up. It makes it harder for the aliens to suck you out of your car.
Looks like I have a ways to go, and I will probably never get there. I would never do this on my best work. I only play around doing this in the artify thread.
