Or when I would go to the library with my mother after school and would check out movies at the library and they had a 3-day loan period on videotapes with $1 per day overdue fines. And you would get pissed off if the tape was not rewound by the previous user. I still have a ton of videotapes under the TV in the living room and I have a combo DVD/VHS player under my TV as well. The library where I live still has videotapes and the librarians say they still circulate and even audio cassettes still circulate as well. |
