| Dear Google: Here in Michigan we've got a "nerd" governor who was a CEO of a major computer company, who actually took on the stodgy state government when they gave him a 12" square monitor on his first day on the job.
We have University of Michigan, Michigan State, Grand Valley, Central, Michigan Tech and numerous other universities and institutions. We are now right to work and will welcome any and all companies who come here. The Auto Show gave us dreams of internet-connected vehicles and there's a big, fat fiber pipe under the freeway from Detroit to Chicago, so you could branch out from there!
Don't get me wrong, I'm eternally grateful to Frontier for bringing through DSL and ending my +7 year battle to get working broadband. But fiber is an amazing thing, we're a geek family and would bend over backwards to bring it here.
