[Cable] QC Cable - Self-install option available?

Is there a self-install option available for QC Cable?

I don't need a tech visit, the installation is working for 10+ years.

I know I would still have to pay the 85$ for install, but I would rather not waste a day just to plug in a modem

I tried searching for the answer but haven't seen that mentioned anywhere.

Thanks

Think it is hit or miss. I had to be home when I had Electronic Box installed (same deal, Videotron for 10+ years) but my buddy who signed up did not require a tech visit

What you currently have for services with Videtron at the time you order ours will dictate whether or not a tech is needed. Example, if you have Videotron Internet and you are switching to us, a tech is not needed.

I was thinking to have both running for a while first, then cut Videotron when I'm ready.

Would that change things?

You can't run both at the same
