Update while rooted?

On my Galaxy Note 2 (vz) I have it rooted and Iw as prompted to update the firmware this morning ota. When i went to install the update it failed. Unrooted the phone and went to update again, still didn't work? Suggestions please -- Romney - Ryan 2012 Christie 2016
