[Hardware] Rumors on the Samsung Galaxy S IV

More possible leaks on what is coming with the Galaxy S IV.

5 inch display
440 pixels per inch
1.8GHz 8-core Exynos 5 Octa processor
LTE
2GB RAM
microSD
wireless charging
13MP cam

Of all these, I think wireless charging is the most intriguing. Guesses say an April 2013 release. If these are accurate I think it could be a huge success.

If the displays keep getting bigger, I'm going to have to gain back the weight that I just lost so that I can buy bigger pants with larger pockets!

Hrmm. For me the 110/120mm 16:9AR displays (Galaxy2,3 respectively) are the sweet spot. They bump to 130mm and it's getting a bit ridiculous even for fat fingers like me. Also, at what megapixels of cam sensor do lens options on a slate phone become the limiting factor? I'm guessing between 6-10 but don't know.

Thanks for tickling the anticipation nerve, 87062379 See Profile. I'm a dumb phone user watching the Android device market for that phone which doubles as a reasonable PC.

2600mAh battery is the only thing i care about. About time we stop worrying about daily usage killing battery.

I found the key to success but somebody changed the lock.

Cool, I'll be able to get a GS III for dirt cheap from some idiot that just 'has' to upgrade!

Samsung still hasn't released their official wireless charging kit.

This vid has a decent review.

As someone who has an older Galaxy Nexus, I'm seriously looking at this phone. Most likely I'm be getting the Galaxy S IV.

My next phone will be a note 3 or 4 depending where I am when my contact expires

I'm interested to see the size comparison between the S IV and the Note II

I think that the Note is too large for a phone.

Many use their devices more for texting and data functions than as a telephone. (Me included) Handsfree bluetooth in the car and a bluetooth ear piece will keep you from having to hoist a Note to your ear. Having a Note may negate anyone's need to own a tablet and a phone combing the capabilities into one device. The Note still isn't for everyone but it's nice to have a choice.

I use my phone for more than just texting and some data functions as well. My phone is more of a mobile computer for me than a phone. But still, I think theNote is still a little too big.

I'll most likely be buying one to replace my original galaxy S i9000.

Bell has been eager to give me an S III but thanks to sweet jelly bean ROMs from XDA for my i9000 I'm holding out.

I probably would've bought a Nexus 4 if they actually existed. At this rate I'll be able to get an S IV first.

I'll get one for me when they come out.

The Mrs. is keeping the Note 2.
