It's really not weird at all. The frequency of the QAM channel on which FSC resides is such that signal loss caused by a poor splitter or coax, or by signal egress from other sources cause by the same, results in an unacceptable signal at the STB. |

Along these same lines, what others channels share ESPN/570? I can't get 570 on several boxes and suspect wiring/signal problems.

Would signal loss from a splitter or the wire damage the box? My tech replaced the splitter and the co-ax wire, his machine which tested the signal was a Green pass, but the old 7100 box would not load up the channel. He replaced the box with a new 7100 off his truck and then it worked. |
