| And a new issue-Optical audio. This just started. I have a non-pass through A/V receiver which means I have to bring the audio part to the receiver from the cable box with an optical cable. And then from the receiver to the TV with HDMI.
All of sudden I've lost sound on the audio system. The optical fiber is putting out a red light from the cable box to the receiver. Just not audio to the TV. Video is fine, and can also get sound on the TV speakers, but on the audio sytem I get nothing. Does this mean the problem is in the receiver or could there be a defect in the cable box???? It worked fine for a couple of months. |
