Re: IP Address on Homefusion

Thank you for the reply. But living in Indiana and connecting to a host in Ohio routing it from Kansas has caused the problem. I 2-3bar on games to were the host is 50 miles from me. Thats why I was wondering if anything can be done. I know on my own testing that the closer the server the better the ping but with it showing me in the wrong location its seems to be making it that much worse. Any ideas?

Edgewood, TX

2-3 bars is the signal you are getting to whatever tower you are connecting to. Terrestrial IP networks if they are running over fiber, cable, or non-congested cellular networks generally aren't affected by distances, unless you are talking to a server on the other side of the planet and it has to go through a satellite network.

My HomeFusion IP says I'm in the Houston area, when I'm 300 miles north of Houston.. Go figure.. I play WOW just fine on my connection.
